About Proxeno
Proxeno matches practice owners who are selling with the groups and operators who buy.
We work from the GP Zoo dataset of who owns Australian general practice: 4,356 independent practices and 340 group operators, mapped site by site and current to July 2026. A practice starts with a free business acuity assessment. When a sale is in view, the sale readiness check scores how prepared the practice is to sell, and the owner decides whether to sell, prepare first or wait. Sellers choose whether to manage the sale themselves with our forms, our documents and our buyer list, or to have an accredited consultant work alongside them.
We act for one side of any deal and we say which. We do not value practices. We never buy a practice or take an interest in one.
Proxeno is built and operated using agentic AI. The platform puts what experienced practice consultants know into its tools, which lowers the cost of optimising a practice for sale and providing market search services to identify the best match for buyers and sellers. Humans still drive decisions and provide support: the readiness gaps, the seller introductions and advocacy, the buyer discussions.
The problem it answers
Selling a general practice depends on information the owner does not hold: who the buyers are, what practices like theirs have sold for, and which conditions in a deal are standard and which are opportunism.

25 years in operational and executive health management: group practice and primary and urgent care establishment, feasibility workups and economic modelling, with depth in regional and rural care. An accredited AGPAL assessor.
Tyson Reynolds
Healthtech platform building, operations and partnerships. Co-founder of New Frontier Health, which he grew to a $5 million valuation in 18 months serving 150 practices, and a health researcher across general practice and public health.
Fahad Muhammad
Data engineering, data architecture and business intelligence across 17 years in regulated industries. He builds the data platform behind Proxeno on Databricks, Snowflake, AWS and Azure.
Dr Chris Mitchell AM, FAICD
Clinical leadership, health policy and governance. Co-founder of Medius Global, a rural GP of 35 years and a Past President of the RACGP, made a Member of the Order of Australia in 2013.
Dr Bruce Willett
General practice ownership and GP education. A GP since 1989 who built Victoria Point Surgery in Brisbane's south, a former RACGP Vice President and Queensland Faculty Chair, and a Rose-Hunt Award recipient.
